Original WWII German Luftwaffe Officer Summer Uniform Breast Eagle – Assmann

Original WWII German Luftwaffe officer’s breast eagle for the summer uniform, manufactured by the well-known German maker Assmann.
This metal breast insignia depicts the Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings holding a swastika in its talons.
The breast eagle has a silver-colored finish and was worn on the white summer uniform of Luftwaffe officers.
Unlike embroidered breast eagles intended for cloth uniforms, this version is fitted with a pin system allowing the insignia to be attached directly to the uniform.
The obverse displays finely executed details to the feathers, head, talons and swastika.
The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin system with hinge and catch.
The Assmann manufacturer’s logo is visible centrally on the reverse.
The insignia shows traces of use and areas of wear to the silver-colored finish, as clearly visible in the photographs.

Originele WWII Duitse Luftwaffe officiers borstadelaar voor het zomeruniform, geproduceerd door de bekende Duitse fabrikant Assmann

Dit metalen borstembleem toont de Luftwaffe adelaar met gespreide vleugels en een hakenkruis in de klauwen.
De borstadelaar is uitgevoerd in een zilverkleurige afwerking en werd gedragen op het witte zomeruniform van Luftwaffe officieren.
In tegenstelling tot de geborduurde borstadelaars voor stoffen uniformen is deze uitvoering voorzien van een naaldsysteem waarmee het embleem rechtstreeks op het uniform kon worden bevestigd.
De voorzijde heeft fraai uitgewerkte details in de veren, kop, klauwen en het hakenkruis.
Op de achterzijde bevindt zich het horizontale naaldsysteem met scharnier en vanghaak.
Centraal op de achterzijde is het fabrikantslogo van Assmann zichtbaar.
