Original WWII German 25 Year Faithful Service Medal – Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen

Original WWII German 25 Year Faithful Service Medal, officially known as the ‘Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen’.
This decoration was instituted in 1938 and awarded to individuals who had completed 25 years of faithful service within the German public sector.
The medal consists of a silver-colored cross surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves.
The obverse features a black enameled swastika in the center.
The reverse bears the inscription ‘Für treue Dienste’ within the central panel.
This example retains its dark blue ribbon with attachment pin on the reverse.
Much of the silver-colored finish remains present, with light traces of use visible in the photographs.
A fine original example of the German 25 Year Faithful Service Medal and an interesting WWII German decoration for medal and militaria collectors.

Originele WWII Duitse Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen voor 25 jaar trouwe dienst uit de periode van het Derde Rijk

Deze onderscheiding werd in 1938 ingesteld voor personen die gedurende 25 jaar trouwe dienst hadden verricht binnen de Duitse openbare sector.
De medaille bestaat uit een zilverkleurig kruis met daarachter een krans van eikenbladeren.
Op de voorzijde bevindt zich centraal een zwart geëmailleerd hakenkruis.
De achterzijde draagt in het centrale vlak de tekst ‘Für treue Dienste’.
Het exemplaar is voorzien van het bijbehorende donkerblauwe lint met bevestigingsspeld aan de achterzijde.
Een mooi origineel exemplaar van het Duitse Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen voor 25 dienstjaren en een interessante onderscheiding voor de verzamelaar van Duitse WWII medailles.
