Original Dutch Bronze Decoration for Long and Faithful Service, in the version instituted in 1951.
This decoration was awarded to Dutch military personnel in recognition of long and faithful military service.
The bronze medal features the crowned Dutch coat of arms surrounded by military attributes and the inscription ‘Voor Trouwe Dienst’ on the obverse.
The reverse features the crowned monogram of Queen Juliana.
The decoration is suspended from its distinctive orange ribbon and includes the bronze clasp with the Roman numeral ‘XVIII’, representing 18 years of faithful service.

Origineel Nederlands Onderscheidingsteken voor Langdurige en Trouwe Dienst in brons, in een uitvoering die in 1951 werd ingesteld

Deze onderscheiding werd toegekend aan Nederlandse militairen als erkenning voor langdurige en trouwe militaire dienst.
Het bronzen medaillon toont op de voorzijde het gekroonde Nederlandse wapen met militaire attributen en het opschrift ‘Voor Trouwe Dienst’.
De keerzijde is voorzien van het gekroonde monogram van koningin Juliana.
De onderscheiding hangt aan het kenmerkende oranje lint en is voorzien van de bronzen gesp met het Romeinse cijfer ‘XVIII’, voor 18 jaar trouwe dienst.
