Rare original ensemble of admission and membership cards from the Presseball 1939, organized by the Reichsverband der Deutschen Presse.
The set consists of several authentic paper items, including a membership card (no. 703) issued to a gentleman and an admission ticket (no. 1263) issued to a lady, both dated Saturday, 28 January 1939, and valid for the ballroom halls of the Zoological Garden in Berlin.
The cards are personally issued, non-transferable, and feature original control stubs, red markings, and handwritten entries, as was customary for official events of the period.
This set constitutes a unique historical document, offering insight into the social and cultural life of journalistic circles in Germany shortly before the Second World War. Of particular interest to collectors of press history, ephemera, Berlin city history, as well as for museum and educational purposes.

Zeldzaam origineel ensemble van toegangs- en lidmaatschapskaarten van de Presseball 1939, georganiseerd door het Reichsverband der Deutschen Presse. Het betreft meerdere authentieke papieren stukken, waaronder een Mitgliedskarte (nr. 703) voor een heer en een Eintrittskarte (nr. 1263) voor een dame, beide gedateerd zaterdag 28 januari 1939 en geldig voor de feestzalen van de Zoologischer Garten te Berlijn. De kaarten zijn op naam gesteld, niet overdraagbaar, en voorzien van originele controleafscheuringen, rode markering en handgeschreven invullingen, zoals gebruikelijk bij officiële evenementen uit die periode.
