Original WWII German NSKK plaque Nachtorientierungsfahrt Motorbrigade Mitte 1937

This detailed German plaque from 1937 was issued by the National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) to commemorate the Night Orientation Drive of the Motor Brigade Mitte on October 16–17, 1937.
The plaque is made of metal and features a beautifully gilded NSKK emblem in relief on a white enameled background.
The edge bears deep blue lettering with the inscription “NACHTORIENTIERUNGSFAHRT MOTORBRIGADE MITTE.”
The reverse side is flat and shows the original mounting holes.
The NSKK was a paramilitary motor organization within the Third Reich that focused on promoting driving skills, vehicle maintenance, and military mobility.
Its orientation and skill drives, such as this Night Orientation Drive, served both as sporting challenges and as training in navigation and discipline for its members.

Deze gedetailleerde Duitse plaquette uit 1937 werd uitgegeven door het Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK) ter herinnering aan de Nachtorientierungsfahrt van de Motorbrigade Mitte op 16 en 17 oktober 1937. De plaquette is vervaardigd uit metaal met een fraai verguld NSKK-embleem in reliëf op een wit geëmailleerde achtergrond. De rand is voorzien van diepblauwe letters met de inscriptie “NACHTORIENTIERUNGSFAHRT MOTORBRIGADE MITTE”. De achterzijde is vlak en vertoont de originele bevestigingsgaatjes.
Het NSKK was een paramilitaire motororganisatie binnen het Derde Rijk die zich richtte op het bevorderen van rijvaardigheid, voertuigonderhoud en militaire mobiliteit.
Hun oriëntatie- en vaardigheidsritten, zoals deze Nachtorientierungsfahrt, dienden zowel als sportieve uitdaging als training in navigatie en discipline voor haar leden.
