Original World War II document group from the German occupation period in the Netherlands.
The documents belonged to Petrus Theodorus Jochems, born February 3, 1901 in Nijmegen and living in Ede.
This historical group contains several original German and Dutch documents from 1944 concerning P.T.T. employment, exemption from labor deployment, Wehrmacht documentation and exemption from bicycle confiscation during the German occupation.
The document group includes a Wehrmacht Ausweis issued in Arnhem-Wageningen dated May 23, 1944, an exemption certificate for employment in Germany for a Dutch P.T.T. worker, an Ersatz-Ausweis with NSDAP stamps, German military administrative forms, a bicycle confiscation exemption issued by the municipality of Ede, as well as various official stamps, signatures and administrative annotations from the German occupation period.
Particularly interesting is the document stating that Jochems worked for the German Wehrmacht within the P.T.T. technical disturbance service, including authorization to continue work during air raid alarms.
The documents feature original German eagle stamps, Wehrmacht seals, NSDAP references and wartime P.T.T. administration from the final years of the war.

Originele Tweede Wereldoorlog documentengroep afkomstig uit de Duitse bezettingsperiode in Nederland.
De documenten behoren toe aan Petrus Theodorus Jochems, geboren op 3 februari 1901 te Nijmegen en woonachtig te Ede.
Deze historische groep bevat meerdere originele Duitse en Nederlandse documenten uit 1944 met betrekking tot werkzaamheden voor de P.T.T., vrijstellingen van arbeidsinzet, Wehrmacht-documentatie en vrijstelling van rijwielvordering tijdens de Duitse bezetting.
De documentengroep bevat onder andere een Wehrmacht Ausweis uit Arnhem-Wageningen van 23 mei 1944, een vrijstellingsbewijs voor tewerkstelling in Duitsland voor een P.T.T.-medewerker, een Ersatz-Ausweis voorzien van NSDAP-stempels, Duitse militaire aanvraagformulieren, een vrijstelling van rijwielvordering uitgegeven door de gemeente Ede, evenals diverse officiële stempels, handtekeningen en administratieve aantekeningen uit de Duitse bezettingsperiode.
Bijzonder interessant is het document waarin vermeld wordt dat Jochems werkzaamheden uitvoerde voor de Duitse Wehrmacht binnen de storingsdienst van de P.T.T., inclusief toestemming om tijdens luchtalarm werkzaamheden uit te voeren.
