Original WWII German certificate set Leutnant Josef Best

This German certificate set (3) is in good condition and belonged to German Lieutenant Josef Best who served in the Grenadier Regiment 355 and the Grenadier Ausbildung battalion 14 during World War II.
He received the Verwundetenabziechen in black and silver and the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in silver in 1944 and 1945.
Grenadier Regiment 355 fell under the 214. Infantry Division and fought in 1944 in Ukraine and then at the Weichsel Brückenkopf, among other places.
There the unit was defeated and only small groups from the unit withdrew to Breslau.

Originele WWII Duitse oorkonden set Josef Best 

Deze Duitse oorkonde set van drie exemplaren is in goede conditie en behoorde tot de Duitse Luitenant Josef Best welke in het Grenadier Regiment 355 en het Grenadier Ausbildung battalion 14 diende tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Hij behaalde het Verwundetenabziechen in zwart en zilver en het Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in zilver in 1944 en 1945.
Grenadier Regiment 355 viel onder de 214. Infanterie Divisie en vocht in 1944 onder andere in Oekraïne en daarna bij de Weichsel Brückenkopf.
Daar werd de eenheid verslagen en slechts kleine groepjes uit de eenheid trokken zich terug naar Breslau.
Een interessante set voor de militaria of Tweede Wereldoorlog collectie!
