Original WWII Dutch Schalkhaar/Staatspolitie visor cap insignia

This metal cap insignia is in good condition and was worn by the Dutch Schalkhaar or State Police during World War II.
This metal insignia, elegantly designed with a fiery flame above a sphere, symbolizes the authority and discipline of the Schalkhaar Regiment.
The Schalkhaar and State Police operated under direct German influence and were employed for maintaining order, guarding, and tracking down resistance members.
Their actions gained an infamous reputation due to close cooperation with the occupier, and they were also involved in deportations.
The badge dates from the 1941–1945 period and features the characteristic double attachment prongs on the reverse.
During the war, this metal emblem was also regularly worn on the collar tab of the Dutch collaboration  organization Landwacht Nederland.

Origineel WWII Nederlands Schalkhaar- of Staatspolitie metalen pet embleem

Dit metalen pet embleem is in goede conditie en werd gedragen door de Nederlandse Schalkhaar- of Staatspolitie tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Dit messing embleem, fraai vormgegeven met een vurige vlam boven een bol, symboliseert de autoriteit en discipline van het Schalkhaarregiment. De Schalkhaar- en Staatspolitie stonden onder directe Duitse invloed en werden ingezet voor ordehandhaving, bewaking en het opsporen van verzetsleden.
Hun optreden kreeg een beruchte reputatie door de nauwe samenwerking met de bezetter en tevens waren zij betrokken bij deportaties.
Het embleem dateert uit de periode 1941–1945 en toont de dubbele bevestigingspinnen aan de achterzijde.
Dit metalen embleem werd tijdens de oorlog ook regelmatig gedragen op de kraagspiegel van de Nederlandse collaboratie organisatie Landwacht Nederland.
