The armband comes from The Hague and was worn by a member of the B.A.B, also known as the Bureau Afvoer Burgerbevolking.
This organization was specialized in the evacuation of Dutch citizens.
At Scheveningen, the Atlantic Wall was built after which the civilian population had to be evacuated and moved, the B.A.B. eligible to organize this.
An interesting armband for the regional collector or armband collection!

De armband is afkomstig uit Den Haag en werd gedragen door een lid van de B.A.B, ook wel bekend als het Bureau Afvoer Burgerbevolking.
Deze organisatie was gespecialiseerd in het evacueeren van Nederlandse burgers.
Bij Scheveningen werd er de Atlantikwall gebouwd waarna de burger bevolking geevacueerd en verhuisd moest worden, hierbij kwam de B.A.B. in aanmerking om dit te organiseren.
