Original Pre 1940 Dutch army dog tag Regiment Jagers and Dutch Indies dog tag

This Dutch Pre 1940 dog tag and Dutch East Indies dog tag are in good condition and belonged to Wilhelmus L Ten Wolde from Arnhem.
He served with the Regiment Jagers in May 1940 and became a captain in the Dutch East Indies.
In May 1940, the Regiment Jagers, part of the Dutch Royal Army, was involved in the fighting during the German invasion.
Among other places, they were stationed in the Land of Maas and Waal, near Druten, and played a role in the defense of airfields such as Ypenburg, Ockenburg and Waalhaven.

Dit Nederlandse Pre 1940 naamplaatje en Nederlands-Indie naamplaatje zijn in goede conditie en behoorden tot Wilhelmus L Ten Wolde uit Arnhem.
Hij diende in mei 1940 bij het Regiment Jagers en werd kapitein in Nederlands-Indië.
In mei 1940 was het Regiment Jagers, onderdeel van de Nederlandse Koninklijke Landmacht, betrokken bij de gevechten tijdens de Duitse inval.
Ze waren onder andere gelegerd in het Land van Maas en Waal, bij Druten, en speelden een rol bij de verdediging van vliegvelden zoals Ypenburg, Ockenburg en Waalhaven.
