Original Pre-WWII Dutch Fokker T.8-W Torpedo Bomber Seaplane Framed Advertising Print

Original Dutch framed Fokker advertising print dating from before 1940 and featuring the Fokker T.8-W torpedo bomber.
The print depicts a Fokker T.8-W floatplane carrying Dutch military markings.
Below the image is the title ‘Fokker T.8-W Torpedo- en Bomvliegtuig’, followed by information concerning deliveries to the Royal Netherlands Navy, new production series and foreign licence production.
The manufacturer is identified at the bottom as ‘N.V. Nederlandsche Vliegtuigenfabriek Fokker Amsterdam’.
The Fokker T.VIII-W was produced from the late 1930s as a maritime reconnaissance, torpedo and bomber aircraft and was used by the Dutch Naval Aviation Service.
The print is presented in a wooden frame and measures approximately 35 x 26 cm overall.
The reverse retains an old label from art dealer Marrewa in Amsterdam.

De prent toont een Fokker T.8-W watervliegtuig op drijvers met Nederlandse militaire herkenningstekens.
Onder de afbeelding staat ‘Fokker T.8-W Torpedo- en Bomvliegtuig’, gevolgd door informatie over levering aan de Koninklijke Marine, nieuwe series voor binnen- en buitenland en licentiebouw in het buitenland.
Onderaan staat de fabrikant vermeld als ‘N.V. Nederlandsche Vliegtuigenfabriek Fokker Amsterdam’.
De Fokker T.VIII-W werd vanaf het einde van de jaren dertig gebouwd als maritiem verkennings-, torpedo- en bommenvliegtuig en werd onder meer door de Nederlandse Marine Luchtvaartdienst gebruikt.
De prent bevindt zich in een houten lijst en meet in totaal circa 35 x 26 cm.
Op de achterzijde bevindt zich een oud label van kunsthandel Marrewa in Amsterdam.
Een fraai origineel vooroorlogs Nederlands luchtvaartobject met een directe verbinding met Fokker en de Koninklijke Marine.
