Original WWII German late war ‘Presstoff’ medical pouch

This original German DRK medical pouch from the Second World War is a late-war type, manufactured in Presstoff (pressed artificial leather), a material widely used during the later war years due to shortages of genuine leather. The pouch is finished in black and features the characteristic compact rectangular shape with rounded corners and strong stitching.

The reverse shows the attachment loops and metal D-ring for a carrying strap or equipment attachment. The interior displays the typical Presstoff texture and attachment points for contents.

This type of medical pouch was used by German medics and represents a typical example of late-war German production. An interesting piece of equipment for collectors of German medical gear and Second World War militaria.

Originele WWII Duitse laat oorlogse medische tas geproduceerd van ‘Presstoff’

Deze originele Duitse verbandtas uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog betreft een laat-oorlogs type, vervaardigd uit Presstoff (geperst kunstleer), een materiaal dat in de latere oorlogsjaren veelvuldig werd gebruikt vanwege schaarste aan leer.
De tas is uitgevoerd in zwart en kenmerkt zich door de kenmerkende compacte, rechthoekige vorm met afgeronde hoeken en stevige stiknaden.
