De brief is gericht aan het Bürgermeisteramt Almelo en behandelt de administratieve afhandeling van vergoedingen voor inkwartiering. In de tekst wordt medegedeeld dat toekomstige kwartiervergoedingen niet langer via de Verwaltung der SS-Verfügungstruppe zullen worden afgehandeld en dat men zich voortaan dient te wenden tot de bevoegde Wehrmachtskommandantur.
