This German propaganda poster from 1940 was issued to depict the German victory in Rotterdam following the events of May that year.
Titled “Kampf um Rotterdam” (“Battle for Rotterdam”), the poster features six colorful illustrations showing the fighting, destruction, and eventual capitulation of the city — presented entirely in the style of the German wartime press.
It was printed by Druk und Verlag Scherl, Berlin, as part of a series designed to glorify German military successes.
This example is in good condition, with vivid colors and sharp details still well preserved.
