Original WWII German Luftwaffe officers car pennant flag

This German Luftwaffe officer’s car flag from the Second World War is in nice used condition.
The triangular flag is made of field-grey cloth and features a finely machine-embroidered Luftwaffe eagle emblem.
The eagle, with outstretched wings, clutches a swastika in its talons, as was characteristic of Luftwaffe officer’s car flags.
This type of car flag was mounted on vehicles of Luftwaffe officers and served as a distinctive sign during official journeys and movements.

Deze Duitse Luftwaffe officiers autovlag uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog verkeert in een mooie gebruikte conditie.
De driehoekige vlag is uitgevoerd in veldgrijs doek en voorzien van een fraai, machinaal geborduurd Luftwaffe-adelaar-embleem.
De adelaar met gespreide vleugels houdt een hakenkruis in zijn klauwen, zoals kenmerkend voor de officiersautovlaggen van de Luftwaffe.
Dit type autovlag werd bevestigd aan voertuigen van Luftwaffe-officieren en diende als herkenningsteken tijdens officiële ritten en verplaatsingen.
