Original WWII German Polizei Tschako

This German Schutzpolizei enlisted men’s Tschako dates from the Second World War and was produced by Robert Lubstein (Erel) in Berlin.
This helmet was worn by the Ordnungspolizei and remains in authentic used condition.
The felt body is trimmed with leather and fitted with the original chinstrap.
On the front is the large aluminum police eagle emblem with laurel wreath and swastika, above which sits the national cockade in red/black/white with silver edging.
The interior retains its original leather liner with drawstring, manufacturer’s mark, and a handwritten name (“Rudi Franke”).
The piece shows age- and use-related wear consistent with its period, with patina and craquelure on the leather parts, but it remains complete and solid.

Deze Duitse Schutzpolizei manschappen Tschako dateert uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog en werd geproduceerd door Robert Lubstein (Erel) in Berlijn.
Deze helm werd gedragen door de Ordnungspolizei en verkeert in gebruikte authentieke staat.
Het vilt is omrand met leer en voorzien van de originele kinriem.
Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich het grote aluminium adelaarsembleem met lauwerkrans en swastika, daarboven de kokarde in rood/zwart/wit met zilveren rand.
De binnenzijde heeft de originele leren voering met veter, gemerkt door de fabrikant en voorzien van een handgeschreven naam ‘Rudi Franke’.
