This American photo is in used condition, dates from June 1942, and shows Queen Wilhelmina’s visit to Princess Juliana, Beatrix, and Irene in Ottawa, Canada, during the Second World War.
Princess Juliana had fled to Canada with her daughters in June 1940 to escape the occupation.
They stayed at Stornoway House in Ottawa, and later also temporarily in the Governor General’s residence.

Deze Amerikaanse foto is in gebruikte conditie, dateert uit juni 1942 en daarop is het bezoek van Koningin Wilhelmina te zien aan Juliana, Beatrix en Irene in Ottawa in Canada gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Prinses Juliana was in juni 1940 met haar dochters naar Canada gevlucht om aan de bezetting te ontkomen.
Ze verbleven in Stornoway House in Ottawa, later ook tijdelijk in het Gouverneurshuis.
