This American patch is in good condition and was worn by personnel who were part of the “Manhattan Project,” or production of the Atomic Bomb during World War II.
The Manhattan Project was the name of the highly secret operation led by the United States, with the help of Canada and the United Kingdom.
This project allowed the United States to develop the atomic bomb during World War II.

Originele WWII US ‘Manhattan Project’ atoombom eenheid patch 

Deze Amerikaanse patch is in goede conditie en werd gedragen door het personeel dat deel uitmaakte van het ‘Manhattan Project’ oftewel de productie van de Atoombom tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Het Manhattanproject was de naam van de zeer geheime operatie, geleid door de Verenigde Staten, met de hulp van Canada en het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Met dit project konden de Verenigde Staten tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog de atoombom ontwikkelen.
