The helmet is in used condition and this is a swivel bale front seam type and this one came originally out of the woodwork in Amsterdam.
This helmet is a front seam and has a Capac liner (marked on the inside) and the leather chinstrap is still present.
On the liner there a a few names written.
It has a beautiful darker green raw paint on the outside of the shell and also the original helmet netting is still on the helmet!

Originele WWII US M1 helm – swivel bale front seam met helm net
De helm is in een een gebruikte staat en het betreft een swivel bale front seam helm en is oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Amsterdam.
Het betreft een ‘front seam’ met een Capac liner. (gemarkeerd aan de binnenzijde)
Op de liner zijn met potlood allerlei namen geschreven.
De helm heeft een gave donker groene verf met korrelstructuur aan de buitenzijde van de helmschaal en ook het originele helm camouflage net is nog aanwezig op deze helm!
Een prachtige Amerikaanse helm voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog collectie!
