Original WWII US ‘Iwo Jima’ poster 1945

This original American World War II poster is an impressive example of the 7th War Loan campaign issued in 1945. The image depicts the iconic moment of U.S. Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima, based on the famous Associated Press photograph. The artwork was painted by C.C.
