These American set of 3 antitank minefield sketches/maps is in good condition, dates from December 17, 1944 and were used during the Ardennes offensive, also known as the battle of the Bulge.
These sketches were made by Lieutenant Caldwell of the US 146th Combat Engineers Battalion at the crossroad in Neu-Hattlich in the Ardennes near the German border.
As you can see the crossroad and the house are still excising today!

Deze Amerikaanse antitank mijnenveld schetsen/kaarten zijn in goede conditie, dateren van 17 december 1944 en werden gebruikt tijdens het Ardennen offensief, ook wel bekend als de battle of the Bulge.
Deze schets werd gemaakt door de Amerikaanse luitenant Caldwell van de 146th Combat Engineers Battalion op het kruispunt in Neu-Hattlich in de Ardennen vlakbij de Duitse grens.
Zoals men kunt zien bestaat hetzelfde kruispunt en het aangegeven huis nog steeds!
