Original US Army Technical Manual TM 9-1295 ‘Pistols and Revolvers’ from the Second World War.
This official manual was issued by the War Department on 9 November 1942 for the Ordnance Maintenance branches of the United States Army.
The manual covers the maintenance, inspection, disassembly, reassembly, repair and operation of the Colt M1911, Colt M1911A1, Colt Revolver M1917 and Smith & Wesson Revolver M1917.
The book contains 116 pages featuring detailed technical drawings, exploded diagrams, parts illustrations and step-by-step maintenance and repair instructions.
The front cover bears the handwritten notation ‘Verfallen’, indicating that the manual had been withdrawn from service.
