This detailed city map depicts Leipzig in Germany at a scale of 1:12,500 and includes streets, railways, public buildings, parks, stations and key infrastructure.
The map was compiled by the Geographical Section General Staff No. 4480 and published by the British War Office in June 1944.
It was additionally copied and reproduced by the 665th Engineers of the United States Army in May 1944.
The front side features an extensive town plan of Leipzig complete with legend and coordinate grid for military navigation.
The reverse side contains a comprehensive street index together with locations of public buildings, churches, hospitals, cemeteries and parks.
