Original WWII US antitank minefield sketch/map of the town of Hepscheid

This secret American antitank minefield sketch/map is in good condition, dates from January 26, 1945 and was used during the fightings of the town Hepscheid.
Hepscheid is a German-speaking hamlet in the Heppenbach sub-municipality of the municipality of Amel in the Belgian province of Liège.
This sketch was made by an American lieutenant from the 1st Engineer Combat Battalion of the US 1st Infantry Division.
This German minefield  contained 1200 antitank mines.

Originele WWII US antitank mijnenveld schets/kaart van het dorp Hepscheid

Deze geheime Amerikaanse antitank mijnenveld schets/kaart is in goede conditie, dateert van 26 januari 1945 en werd gebruikt tijdens de gevechten in het dorp Hepscheid.
Hepscheid is een Duitstalig gehucht in de deelgemeente Heppenbach van de gemeente Amel in de Belgische provincie Luik.
Deze schets werd gemaakt door een Amerikaanse luitenant van de 1st Engineer Combat Battalion van de US 1st Infantry Division.
Dit Duitse mijnenveld bevatte zo’n 1200 antitank mijnen.
