Original WWII Soviet/Russian M43 ‘Gymnasterka’ Lend-Lease uniform

This Soviet/Russian M43 ‘Gymnasterka’ uniform from the Second World War is in used condition and was worn by Red Army soldiers from 1943 onwards.
This particular set consists of the characteristic M43 tunic with standing collar and the typical riding-style trousers (sharovary), and is especially noteworthy because it is made from American Lend-Lease fabric—material supplied by the United States to the Soviet Union as part of the Allied aid program.
The type of fabric and the finished weave show clear characteristics of Lend-Lease textile production.

Dit Sovjet/Russische M43 ‘Gymnasterka’ uniform uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is in gebruikte conditie en werd gedragen door het Rode Leger vanaf 1943. Deze specifieke set bestaat uit de kenmerkende M43-tuniek met staande kraag en de typische rijbroek (sharovary), en is extra bijzonder doordat het is vervaardigd uit Amerikaanse Lend-Lease stof – materiaal dat door de Verenigde Staten aan de Sovjet-Unie werd geleverd als onderdeel van het geallieerde hulpprogramma.
