Original Second World War press photograph depicting two Polish soldiers wearing tropical uniforms and British Mk II helmets fitted with camouflage nets.
The photograph was taken in the Middle East during the formation and training of the Polish Armed Forces serving under Allied command.
The reverse bears several Polish military propaganda stamps, a military censor stamp and a dated stamp of 17 December 1941.

De opname is gemaakt in het Midden-Oosten tijdens de opbouw en training van de Poolse strijdkrachten onder geallieerd bevel.
Op de achterzijde bevinden zich meerdere Poolse militaire propagandastempels, een censorstempel en een datumstempel van 17 december 1941.
Daarnaast zijn handgeschreven redactienotities en correcties aanwezig die verwijzen naar de verwerking van de foto voor publicatie.
