This original membership card of the Polski Czerwony Krzyż (PCK) – Polish Red Cross is an authentic document from the early war years, issued in the name of Danuta Dandurska as an official member of the PCK, Grojec branch.
The card includes membership details and year markings for 1940/41/42 and bears a clear round branch stamp reading “Polski Czerwony Krzyż Oddział Grojec,” along with a handwritten signature. The document also contains contribution verification fields and affixed 50 groszy membership stamps, used to record the payment of dues.
During the Second World War (1939–1945), Grojec was located within the General Government under German occupation, where humanitarian organizations such as the Polish Red Cross operated under supervision and played an important role in providing assistance to the civilian population.
