This Wiederhohlungsspange is in good condition and complete with the original ribbon.
The Wiederholungsspange was a German military decoration awarded during World War II to soldiers who had previously received the Iron Cross in World War I.
Instead of being awarded the original cross again, these veterans received a metal clasp with the eagle, swastika and the year “1939,” which was worn above the 1914 ribbon or cross.
This showed that the wearer had been decorated twice for bravery or merit, in both World Wars.
