Original German Waffen-SS “Sturm- und Kampflieder” songbook from the Second World War, published in March 1941 by Propaganda-Verlag Paul Hochmuth in Berlin.

This compact songbook contains various battle and marching songs intended for use both at the front and on the home front, as indicated on the title page “für Front und Heimat” (for front and homeland). This particular example originated from a soldier of the SS-Infanterie Ersatz Bataillon “Germania”, a training and replacement battalion of the Waffen-SS, which is confirmed by the Waffen-SS stamp inside the booklet.

The booklet shows clear signs of use, consistent with field use during the war years. A historically interesting collectible for collectors of Waffen-SS and Second World War militaria.

Dit compacte liederenboek bevat diverse strijd- en marsliederen die bedoeld waren voor gebruik aan het front en in het thuisland, zoals ook vermeld op de titelpagina “für Front und Heimat”.
