Original WWII German SS-Sanitäter Personalausweis

Original German Wehrmacht Sanitätsdienst Personal ID (Personalausweis) from the Second World War, dated 25 June 1944. This document was issued to SS-Unterscharführer Ernst Leimbach, born 5 July 1921 in Sehestet, and confirms that he served exclusively within the medical service. The document states that the holder was authorized to wear the Geneva insignia (white armband with red cross) and was therefore protected under Articles 9, 12 and 13 of the Geneva Convention of 27 July 1929. The pass is stamped with a Waffen-SS service stamp (SS medical unit) and includes a field post number as well as the signature of the responsible officer.

Origineel Duits Wehrmacht Sanitätsdienst Personalausweis uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, gedateerd 25 juni 1944. Dit document werd uitgegeven aan SS-Unterscharführer Ernst Leimbach, geboren op 5 juli 1921 in Sehestet, en bevestigt dat hij uitsluitend werkzaam was binnen de medische dienst. In het document staat vermeld dat de drager gerechtigd was het Genève-teken (witte armband met rood kruis) te dragen en daarmee onder bescherming viel van de artikelen 9, 12 en 13 van het Geneefse Verdrag van 27 juli 1929. Het exemplaar is voorzien van een Waffen-SS dienststempel (SS-Sanitäter eenheid), veldpostnummer en handtekening van de verantwoordelijke officier.
