Original WWII German SS-Polizei officers sword with portepee (Dachau production)

This German SS Police ‘Polizei’ officer’s sword with portepee is in excellent condition and was produced in Dachau during World War II.
The sword was primarily worn during parades and formal occasions and reflects the status and authority of the officer class within the SS-Polizei.
The specimen shown has a black lacquered scabbard and silver handle fittings and is highly detailed.
This SS sword was produced by WKC in Dachau and one can recognize a Dachau production model by the unscrewed scabbard fittings and leather buffer.
Wrapped around the hilt is the original silver-and-black porte-pee, indicating its use by SS personnel and enhancing its ceremonial appearance.
Also, the handle contains a metal Polizei insignia.

Deze Duitse SS-Politie ‘Polizei’ officiers degen met portepee is in uitstekende conditie en werd geproduceerd in Dachau tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
