Original WWII German NSKK drivers sleeve badge

Original German NSKK driver sleeve badge from the Second World War period.
This metal badge was worn by members of the National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) who were trained as drivers or vehicle operators.
The design features a stylized steering wheel with a national eagle above a wreath containing a swastika.
The badge was typically worn on the sleeve of the uniform and served as a qualification and duty insignia within the organization.
The reverse retains the original attachment construction used to mount the badge to the uniform.

Originele Duitse NSKK chauffeur mouwbadge uit de periode van de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Deze metalen badge werd gedragen door leden van het Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK) die waren opgeleid als chauffeur of bestuurder van militaire voertuigen.
Het ontwerp toont een gestileerd stuurwiel met centraal een nationaalsocialistische adelaar boven een krans met swastika.
De badge werd doorgaans op de mouw van het uniform gedragen en diende als kwalificatie- en functieaanduiding binnen de organisatie.
Aan de achterzijde bevindt zich de originele bevestigingsconstructie waarmee het insigne op het uniform kon worden bevestigd.
