Original WWII German Mauser-Werke barrel from 1944 in tan/yellow paint

This German metal barrel is in good condition and was used by the Mauser-Werke factory in 1944.
This barrel has a yellow sand color and is marked twice with the Mauser logo and date 1944.
The barrel is airtight which can be seen by the special closure at the top.
Dimensions: 69x 39.5 cm.

A variety of war gear was produced by Mauser in World War II, including the familiar carbines and the obsolete broomhandle pistol Mauser C96 (automatic).
More modern weapons also rolled off the assembly line in Oberndorf, such as the 20 mm artillery that was used as (Vierling-)Flak, including at the factory itself, but which could also -elders- be built into armored cars. Mauser also produced the MG81 and MG151 aircraft machine guns. In addition to the Kar 98k, the more modern rifle Selbstlader Mod.41 rolled off the assembly line.
Flamethrowers were also part of the arsenal, as was the antitank weapon Panzerbüchse 41. In addition, precision measuring devices and calculators were also manufactured.

What exactly was in this barrel is unknown to us to this day!

Originele WWII Duitse metalen ton van de Mauser-Werke fabriek uit 1944

Deze Duitse metalen ton is in goede conditie en werd gebruikt door de Mauser-Werke fabriek in 1944.
Deze ton is voorzien van een gele zandkleur en twee maal voorzien met het Mauser logo en datering 1944.
De ton is luchtdicht wat te zien is aan de speciale sluiting aan de bovenzijde.
Afmetingen: 69x 39,5 cm.

Er werd door Mauser in de Tweede Wereldoorlog een verscheidenheid aan oorlogstuig geproduceerd, waaronder de vertrouwde karabijnen en het verouderde broomhandle-pistool Mauser C96 (automatisch).
Modernere wapens rolden in Oberndorf ook van de band, zoals het 20 mm-geschut dat als (Vierling-)Flak werd ingezet, onder andere bij de fabriek zelf, maar dat tevens -elders- in pantserwagens kon worden ingebouwd.
Mauser produceerde daarnaast de vliegtuigmitrailleurs MG81 en MG151. Naast de Kar 98k rolde er nog het modernere geweer Selbstlader Mod.41 van de band.
Vlammenwerpers behoorden eveneens tot het arsenaal, net als het antitankwapen Panzerbüchse 41. Daarbij vervaardigde men ook nog precisie-meetapparatuur en rekenmachines.

Wat er precies in deze ton gezeten heeft is voor ons tot op heden onbekend!

Een bijzonder object voor de militaria of Tweede Wereldoorlog verzameling!
Vanwege de grootte is het alleen deze mogelijk op zelf op te halen.
