Original WWII German map of Jüterbog

This German army map is in good condition and dates from 1942 and it shows the place Jüterbog in Germany.
Also on this map are places such as Neumarkt, Dennewitz, Bochow and many others.
In 1939 in Jüterbog, a start was made on laying a small railroad across the military training area, but this was never realized due to the war. In 1945, the Friedrich-Ludwig Jahn infantry division was set up in the Fuchsberg barracks and the Adolf Hitler camp. The barracks were also affected by a bombing raid on April 18, 1945. There was also a large ammunition centre on the extensive site used by the military, which was created from the ammunition depots.
During the advance of the Russian army in April 1945, there was heavy fighting in the vicinity of Jüterbog.
This place is located south of Berlin in the German state of Brandenburg, located in the Landkreis Teltow-Fläming.

Deze Duitse stafkaart is in goede conditie en dateert uit 1942 en daarop is de plaats Jüterbog in Duitsland op te zien.
Tevens staan op deze kaart plaatsen zoals Neumarkt, Dennewitz, Bochow en vele anderen.
In 1939 werd in Jüterbog begonnen met de aanleg van een kleine spoorweg door het militaire oefenterrein, maar dit werd nooit gerealiseerd vanwege de oorlog. In 1945 werd de Friedrich-Ludwig Jahn infanteriedivisie opgericht in de Fuchsberg kazerne en het Adolf Hitler kamp. De kazerne werd ook getroffen door een bombardement op 18 april 1945. Er was ook een groot munitiecentrum op het uitgestrekte terrein dat door het leger werd gebruikt, dat was ontstaan uit de munitiedepots.
Tijdens de opmars van het Russische leger in april 1945 werd er hard gevochten in de omgeving van Jüterbog.
De plaats ligt ten zuiden van Berlijn in de Duitse deelstaat Brandenburg, gelegen in de Landkreis Teltow-Fläming.
Deze kaart is oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Berlijn uit het Wehrmacht kaartendepot.
