Original WWII German Luftwaffe Nachschub-Kompanie 9 Erkennungsmarke

This German Erkennungsmarke is in good condition, complete with string and belonged to a member of the Nachschub-Kompanie 9.
The commander of Divisions-Nachschubtruppen 9 (L) was based at Oranienbaum in northern Russia. The unit was created by the transfer of the Luftwaffe Felddivision 9 from the Luftwaffe to the Army. With its creation, the unit was subordinated to the 9th Felddivision (L). Under this division, the unit continued to be deployed in northern Russia. In February 1944, the unit became an army corps after the division was destroyed.
The unit was last deployed in Denmark.

Deze Duitse Erkennungsmarke is in goede conditie, compleet met touwtje en behoorde tot een lid van de Nachschub-Kompanie 9.
De commandant van Divisions-Nachschubtruppen 9 (L) was gevestigd bij Oranienbaum in het noorden van Rusland. De eenheid ontstond door de overdracht van de Luftwaffe Felddivision 9 van de Luftwaffe naar het leger. Met de oprichting werd de eenheid ondergeschikt gemaakt aan de 9e Felddivision (L). Onder deze divisie werd de eenheid verder ingezet in Noord-Rusland. In februari 1944 werd de eenheid een legerkorps nadat de divisie was vernietigd.
De eenheid werd voor het laatst ingezet in Denemarken.
