Original WWII German Lufthansa cap and uniform insignia

These rare German Lufthansa insignia are in used condition and were worn on the schirmmutze and jacket of Lufthansa personnel in the 1930s or World War II.
The insignia are produced with gold bullion thread and feature the metal bird.
Along with these rare insignia comes a periodic Lufthansa photograph found with the insignia.

Lufthansa during World War II

During World War II, Lufthansa, the German national airline, played an indirect but significant role in Nazi Germany’s war efforts.
Although civilian aviation was largely suspended, Lufthansa remained active in logistical and technical support for the Luftwaffe, the German Air Force.
The airline assisted in aircraft maintenance and production and supported military transport operations.
Additionally, Lufthansa was involved in the development and testing of new aircraft, some of which were later used for military purposes.

Deze zeldzame Duitse Lufthansa emblemen zijn in gebruikte conditie en werden gedragen op de schirmmutze en de jas van het Lufthansa personeel in de jaren 30.
De emblemen zijn geproduceerd met gouddraad en voorzien van de metalen vogel.
Samen met deze bijzondere emblemen komt een periodieke Lufthansa foto die bij de emblemen gevonden is.

Lufthansa tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog

Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog speelde Lufthansa, de Duitse nationale luchtvaartmaatschappij, een indirecte maar belangrijke rol in de oorlogsvoering van nazi-Duitsland. Hoewel de civiele luchtvaart grotendeels werd stilgelegd, bleef Lufthansa actief als logistieke en technische ondersteuning voor de Luftwaffe, de Duitse luchtmacht.
