Original WWII German large Reichskriegsflagge – Danish made

This large German Reichskriegsflagge from the Second World War, measuring an impressive 335 x 200 cm, was produced in Denmark during the German occupation.
The design follows the official pattern used by the German armed forces during that period.
The flag is double-sided printed, ensuring the motif is fully visible on both sides, as was customary for large military and naval flags.
The cloth is made of sturdy woven textile and features a reinforced white hoist edge with traditionally applied rope attachments.
The marking “TYSK FL. 4D” along the hoist indicates Danish production for military use during the wartime years.
This example shows signs of age, light damage, discoloration, and areas of wear.

Originele WWII Duitse groot formaat Reichskriegsflagge vlag – Deense productie 

Deze grote Duitse Reichskriegsflagge uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, met imposante afmetingen van 335 x 200 cm, werd geproduceerd in Denemarken tijdens de Duitse bezetting. Het ontwerp volgt het officiële patroon dat in die periode door de Duitse strijdkrachten werd gebruikt. De vlag is dubbelzijdig bedrukt, waardoor het motief aan beide zijden volledig zichtbaar is, zoals gebruikelijk bij grootformaat militaire en maritieme vlaggen. Het doek is vervaardigd uit stevig geweven textiel en voorzien van een versterkte witte zoom met traditioneel aangebracht bevestigingstouw. De markering “TYSK FL. 4D” langs de zoom duidt op Deense productie voor militair gebruik in de oorlogsjaren.
Deze vlag heeft sporen van ouderdom, lichte schade, verkleuringen en slijtageplekken.
