The Kyffhäuserbund
The Kyffhäuserbund was a German veterans’ organization that originally served as an advocacy group for former military personnel of the German Empire and later the Weimar Republic.
During World War II, the organization was placed under the control of the Nazi regime.
In 1933, the Kyffhäuserbund was incorporated into the NS-Reichskriegerbund, the official veterans’ organization of the Third Reich, thereby losing its independence.
Under Nazi control, the Kyffhäuserbund was primarily used for propaganda purposes and the indoctrination of veterans and their families within the National Socialist ideology.
In 1943, the organization was ultimately dissolved.

De Kyffhäuserbund
De Kyffhäuserbund was een Duitse veteranenorganisatie die oorspronkelijk diende als een belangenvereniging voor oud-militairen van het Duitse Keizerrijk en later de Weimarrepubliek.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de organisatie ondergeschikt gemaakt aan het nazi-regime.
In 1933 werd de Kyffhäuserbund opgenomen in de NS-Reichskriegerbund, de officiële veteranenorganisatie van het Derde Rijk, waardoor het zijn onafhankelijkheid verloor.
Onder nazi-controle werd de Kyffhäuserbund vooral gebruikt voor propagandadoeleinden en de indoctrinatie van veteranen en hun families binnen de nationaalsocialistische ideologie.
In 1943 werd de organisatie uiteindelijk ontbonden.
