Original WWII German Kuban shield

The Kuban shield is in used but fine condition and this type was worn by the Wehrmacht or Waffen-SS.
The criteria for the Kuban shield were:

– The recipient had served 60 days within the bridgehead.

– The recipient had participated in one of the major defense battles.

– The receiver was injured inside the bridgehead.

Unfortunately the maker of this example is unknown till this day.

Origineel WWII Duits Kuban schild

Het schild is in een gebruikte maar prima conditie en dit type werd gedragen door Wehrmacht en Waffen-SS eenheden.
De criteria voor het Kuban schild waren als volgt:

– De ontvanger 60 dagen had gediend binnen het bruggenhoofd.

– De ontvanger had deelgenomen aan één van de grote verdedigingsgevechten.

– De ontvanger gewond was geraakt binnen het bruggenhoofd.

Tot op heden is de maker van dit type onbekend.
