To the commander of Utrecht,

The Dutch defenses are captured! In the majority are the German forces ready to attack Utrecht from the east, south west with the simultaneously effort of the strongest tank and airforce units (bombers and stuka’s).
Here by I demand the commander of Utrecht to stop this aimlessly fightings and surrender the city and save the population the same fate as Warsaw.
I demand you to signal us unconditional surrender. (Frequent 1102 kHz, Roepteeken: Hol)
Otherwise to my regret I have to see the city of Utrecht as a fortress and start the attack with all military troops.
The responsibility lies solely with you.

The German supreme command – 14 May 1940.

This is probably one of the most rare and hard to find May 1940 related leaflets out there!
