Original WWII German DRK cap band

This original German DRK cap band from World War II was used by nurses of the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz.
The white cotton band features the red “DRK” with red cross print and was used as edging for the characteristic nurse’s cap, as seen in historical photographs.
The piece is in good condition and clearly shows the typical fabric and red lettering.
Such original DRK textile items are scarce and make a special addition to any militaria or Red Cross collection.

Originele WWII Duitse DRK muts lint

Deze originele Duitse DRK mutslint uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd gebruikt door verpleegsters van het Deutsches Rotes Kreuz.
Het witte katoenen lint is voorzien van de rode opdruk „DRK“ met rood kruis en diende als afwerking voor de kenmerkende verpleegstersmuts, zoals te zien op historische afbeeldingen.
Het stuk verkeert in goede conditie en laat het typische weefsel en de rode belettering duidelijk zien.
Dergelijke originele DRK textielstukken zijn zeldzaam en vormen een bijzonder onderdeel voor een militaria- of Rode Kruis-collectie.
