Original WWII German DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) stamp

Original German D.A.F. (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) stamp from the Second World War, executed in solid metal with a finely recessed relief.

The stamp features a central cogwheel with swastika, surrounded by the inscription “GAUDIPLOM-LEISTUNGEN · FÜR HERVORRAGENDE LEISTUNGEN,” referring to awards or recognitions within the Deutsche Arbeitsfront.

This type of stamp was used on official documents, certificates, or administrative papers within the National Socialist labor organization.

For clarity, one of the photographs has been shown in mirror image so that the text can be viewed in readable form.

Originele Duitse D.A.F. (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) stempel uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, uitgevoerd in massief metaal met een fraai verdiept reliëf. De stempel toont centraal het tandwiel met hakenkruis, omgeven door het opschrift “GAUDIPLOM-LEISTUNGEN · FÜR HERVORRAGENDE LEISTUNGEN”, een verwijzing naar onderscheidingen of erkenningen binnen de Deutsche Arbeitsfront. Dit type stempel werd gebruikt voor officiële documenten, oorkonden of administratieve bescheiden binnen de nationaalsocialistische arbeidsorganisatie.
