Original WWII North Front Cross 1941-1943, a Finnish-German commemorative decoration associated with the fighting on the northern front during the Second World War.
The enamelled cross features the Finnish and German flags, the Finnish coat of arms and the inscription ‘Pohjoisrintama – Die Nordfront’.
The arms are inscribed with the locations Petsamo, Salla, Uhtua and Kiestinki.
The reverse is fitted with a screw-back attachment.
A fine original example for collectors of Finnish and German WWII militaria.

Origineel Noordfrontkruis 1941-1943, een Fins-Duitse herinneringsonderscheiding verbonden aan de strijd aan het noordelijke front tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog
Het geëmailleerde kruis toont centraal de Finse en Duitse vlag met het Finse wapen en de tekst ‘Pohjoisrintama – Die Nordfront’.
Op de armen staan de plaatsen Petsamo, Salla, Uhtua en Kiestinki vermeld.
De achterzijde is voorzien van een schroefbevestiging.
