Original WWII Dutch Schalkhaar Politie shoulder boards

Original pair of Dutch Schalkhaar Police shoulder boards from the Second World War.
The shoulder boards are made in blue with white braided cord.
They remain in mint condition and are still tied together with the original string, a rarely preserved detail.
During the Second World War, the Schalkhaar Police received their training at the Police Training Battalion in Schalkhaar and operated under the supervision of the German occupation authorities.
Members of the Schalkhaar Police carried out policing duties, maintained public order and supported the German occupation administration.
These shoulder boards formed an important part of the Dutch police uniform during the occupation years.
This original pair is a rare collector’s item for collectors of Dutch militaria and police history.

Origineel paar Nederlandse Schalkhaar Politie schouderstukken uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De schouderstukken zijn uitgevoerd in blauw met wit gevlochten koord.
Ze verkeren in mint conditie en zijn nog samengebonden met het oorspronkelijke touwtje, een zeldzaam bewaard gebleven detail.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de Schalkhaar Politie opgeleid aan het Politie Opleidingsbataljon in Schalkhaar en stond deze organisatie onder toezicht van de Duitse bezettingsautoriteiten.
Leden van de Schalkhaar Politie werden ingezet voor politietaken, ordehandhaving en de ondersteuning van de Duitse bezettingsmacht.
De schouderstukken vormen een historisch onderdeel van het uniform van de Nederlandse politie tijdens de bezettingsjaren.
Dit originele paar is een zeldzaam verzamelobject voor liefhebbers van Nederlandse militaria en politiehistorie.
