Original WWII Dutch ‘Reserved’ sign for the German Police from Amersfoort

This ‘Reserved’ sign was used on the Dutch railways during the Second World War.
It dates from 1943 and indicated that a train carriage was reserved for the German Police.
On this example, handwritten details include: from Amersfoort to Utrecht, German Police, and the date 12-10-1943.
These types of paper signs were used in trains to reserve seats or entire carriages for specific groups, including German authorities, military, and police.
An interesting collectible item for a Second World War or militaria collection.

Origineel WWII Nederlands ‘Gereserveerd’ bordje Duitse Politie Amersfoort 

Dit papieren ‘Gereserveerd’ bordje uit 1943 werd gebruikt in de Nederlandse spoorwegen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Dit bordje hing in een treinwagon en gaf aan dat de plaatsen waren gereserveerd voor de Duitse Politie uit Amersfoort, die onderweg was naar Utrecht.
Het stuk is voorzien van handgeschreven invulling met o.a. de aanduiding Amersfoort – Utrecht, Politie Amersfoort, het aantal van 121 personen, en de datum 28-1-1944.
