This card is in unused condition and it concerns a registration document for persons of Jewish origin.

The Registration of Jewish residents was Ordinance no. 6/1941 of Reichskommissar Seyss-Inquart, issued on January 10, 1941.
It obliged all Jewish residents of the Netherlands to register with the Population Register, which cost one guilder.
Those who refused could face up to five years in prison.

Originele WWII Nederlandse registratiekaart voor Joodse personen

De kaart is in ongebruikte conditie en het betreft een aanmeldingsdocument voor personenen van Joodsche oorsprong.

De Registratie Joodse inwoners was Verordening no. 6/1941 van Rijkscommissaris Seyss-Inquart, uitgegeven op 10 januari 1941.
Het verplichtte alle joodse inwoners van Nederland om zich te laten registeren bij het Bevolkingsregister, dit kostte een gulden.
Wie dit weigerde kon een gevangenisstraf tot vijf jaar krijgen.
Een bijzonder object voor de militaria of Tweede Wereldoorlog collectie!
