Original WWII Dutch Red Cross document Rijnsburg regarding a Dutch soldier in Japanese prison camp on Java

Original Dutch Red Cross document dated 11 October 1943 issued by the Information Bureau of the Nederlandsche Roode Kruis in The Hague.
The document is addressed to Mr. L. Noort of Burchtstraat 6 in Rijnsburg and concerns the Dutch serviceman David Martinus Noort, born on 5 May 1919 in Rijnsburg.
The letter confirms that through the International Red Cross in Geneva and the Official Information Bureau in Tokyo notification was received stating that David Martinus Noort was being held as a prisoner of war in a Japanese prison camp on Java under camp number 93290.
It also contains detailed instructions regarding correspondence with Dutch prisoners of war via Japan, including addressing instructions, postal regulations and restrictions imposed by the Japanese authorities.

Het document is gericht aan de heer L. Noort, Burchtstraat 6 te Rijnsburg en betreft de Nederlandse militair David Martinus Noort, geboren op 5 mei 1919 te Rijnsburg.
In de brief wordt bevestigd dat via het Internationale Rode Kruis te Genève en het Officiële Inlichtingen Bureau te Tokio bericht is ontvangen dat David Martinus Noort als krijgsgevangene verblijft in een Japans krijgsgevangenenkamp op Java onder kampnummer 93290.
