Original WWII Dutch NSB W.A. Marsch ’t Noorden medal – Groningen – Friesland – Drenthe

This Dutch NSB medal is in very good condition, dates from 1942 and it concerns the W.A. Marsch van ‘t Noorden medal which was held in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
In 1942, the National Socialist Movement (NSB) organized a large-scale march in the north of the Netherlands, known as the W.A. Marsch ‘t Noorden.
This march was held by the paramilitary branch of the NSB, the Weerbaarheidsafdeling (W.A.), and led through the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
Its purpose was propaganda, strengthening mutual solidarity and radiating power and organization under the National Socialist regime.
Participants in this march received a special medal bearing the provincial arms and the Wolfsangel symbol.

Deze Nederlandse NSB medaille is in zeer goede conditie, dateert uit 1942 en het betreft de W.A. Marsch van ‘t Noorden medaille welke gehouden werd in Groningen, Friesland en Drenthe.
In 1942 organiseerde de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (NSB) een grootschalige mars in het noorden van Nederland, bekend als de W.A. Marsch ‘t Noorden.
Deze mars werd gehouden door de paramilitaire tak van de NSB, de Weerbaarheidsafdeling (W.A.), en voerde door de provincies Groningen, Friesland en Drenthe.
Het doel was propaganda, het versterken van de onderlinge saamhorigheid en het uitstralen van macht en organisatie onder het nationaalsocialistische regime.
Deelnemers aan deze mars ontvingen een speciale medaille, voorzien van de provinciewapens en het Wolfsangel symbool.
