Original WWII Dutch NSB signed photo Ernst Voorhoeve

The photo is in good condition and is hand signed by Ernst Voorhoeve.
Ernst Voorhoeve was born on March 27, 1900 in Rotterdam and by profession he was a sculptor and painter.
In 1932 he became a member of the Association of Dietsche Nationaal Solidaristen (Verdinaso).
In 1938 he was put in charge of the Dutch branch of the Verdinaso but it was eventually incorporated into the NSB in 1940.
In 1942 Ernst Voorhoeve became propaganda leader of the NSB and he also fought on the Eastern Front with the Dutch volunteer legion of the Waffen-SS.
In July 1945 Ernst Voorhoeve was arrested in Germany and transferred to the Netherlands, where he was sentenced to prison.
After the war he continued his art career and he died on November 9, 1966 in Nijmegen.

Originele WWII Nederlandse NSB foto gesigneerd Ernst Voorhoeve

De foto is in goede conditie en deze is hand gesigneerd door Ernst Voorhoeve.
Ernst Voorhoeve werd geboren op 27 maart 1900 in Rotterdam en van beroep was hij beeldhouwer en schilder.
In 1932 werd hij lid van het Verbond van Dietsche Nationaal Solidaristen (Verdinaso).
In 1938 kwam kreeg hij de leiding over de Nederlandse tak van het Verdinaso maar deze werd uiteindelijk opgenomen in de NSB in 1940.
In 1942 werd Ernst Voorhoeve propagandaleider van de NSB en tevens vocht hij ook aan het Oostfront met het Nederlandse vrijwilligers legioen der Waffen-SS.
In juli 1945 werd Ernst Voorhoeve gearresteerd in Duitsland en overgebracht naar Nederland, waar hij een celstraf kreeg.
Na de oorlog vervolgde hij zijn kunst carriere en hij overleed op 9 november 1966 in Nijmegen.
