Original WWII Dutch NSB propaganda department metal sign

This metal NSB sign with the inscription “Afdeeling Propaganda” is a remarkable and rare collaboration-era artifact from the Second World War.
The sign was used to mark an office or department of the Propaganda Division of the National Socialist Movement (NSB), which was responsible for spreading party and occupation propaganda throughout the Netherlands.
Made of metal, the sign features finely engraved lettering in the clean, characteristic wartime typography of the 1940s.
During the war, the NSB Propaganda Department was located at Maliebaan 31 in Utrecht, the central hub of the party’s organization.

Origineel WWII Nederlands NSB metalen ‘Afdeeling Propaganda’ bord 

Deze metalen NSB-bordplaat met het opschrift “Afdeeling Propaganda” is een bijzonder en zeldzaam collaboratie object uit de periode van de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Het bord diende ter aanduiding van een kantoor of lokaal van de propaganda-afdeling van de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (NSB), die verantwoordelijk was voor de verspreiding van partij- en bezettingspropaganda in Nederland. Het bord is vervaardigd uit metaal en toont fraai gegraveerde letters in strakke, karakteristieke oorlogse typografie.
De propaganda afdeling van de NSB was tijdens de oorlog gevestigd aan de Maliebaan 31 in Utrecht.
